Giselle is known for her challenging but sustainable & insightful classes that infuse funky eclectic music, chanting, skillful and intuitive assists and a down to earth approach to life and the practice of yoga. The experience invites the student to explore and investigate perceived limitations with an open heart and humor to facilitate the allowing of “what is”. An advanced certified Jivamukti instructor, studied in Yin yoga as well, she appreciates the potency of this practice and enjoys coalescing these two powerful methods to create a visceral balance positively influencing how we see ourselves, and the world.

Giselles introduction to yoga in the early 90s was a natural progression from her gymnastics/dance background, her passion for music and being raised by a bohemian flamenco dancer; all of which have influenced her style and approach to teaching and life.

Ever a student, Giselle continues to study under the guidance of her guru’s Sharon Gannon and David Life and has assisted them throughout the Western U.S. She is eternally grateful to Sharonji, Davidji & Sarah Powers for their mentorship, generosity, teachings, and love. Other teachers that continue to inspire her are Paul Grilley, Aadil Palkhivala and Duncan Wong.
Giselle has had the honor of teaching classes and workshops nationally and internationally. When not teaching, she continues her practice in studying yogic philosophy, Sanskrit, and meditation.
